Umbra

I liked how shadows, cast by reeds just out of shot, fell onto the mound of snow, describing its curvaceous form. They stretch like tentacles toward the deep umbra on its far side beyond the reach of light from a sun this low in the sky. Again I added a touch of blue in the shadows to work against the warm sunlit reeds.

Still well below freezing, even at today's high. At least last week's extreme low is behind us now.
