Just what it says on the board

This was the menu at a pub in Holme-next-sea. It was a really 'spit and sawdust' pub, certainly by local 'Chelsea on Sea' standards - not a jus or a Parmesan crisp in sight. But guess what - my monkfish tail salad was lovely and meaty and beautifully cooked and J's lemon sole was fresh and light. Sometimes it is best to just let the ingredients speak for themselves.
