On This Day

Redshank

Tringa totanus

One of the RSPB's February birds of the month this lovely redshank was delicately picking its way across the North Berwick golf course. There were lots of oystercatchers but I only saw this one redshank.

My daughter and I had booked neck, shoulder and back massages this morning. I asked for a firm one and that's what I got. It did my knotted up muscles good but there were a few ouch moments along the way.

The world news is terrifying so I'm planning another beach walk. It's windy and any cobwebs will be blown away.
