Ukrainian Colours

In unsettled and unsettling times, I am concerned about Ukraine and also the rest of Europe. 

Germany has general elections today. P and I went voting early, and were surprised to be the only ones in the polling station (apart from the volunteers staffing it).

I hope the voters of democratic parties haven’t given up already. Like everywhere, the far-right extremists are getting more and more money (not always the legal way, it seems), attention, votes and power in our country. It all feels so much like the early 1930es, it’s truly scary - especially with a powerful enemy of Ukraine and Europe ruling in Muskow  Washington.
