Rhododendron

Botanic Gardens, Edinburgh 

Out first thing to the shops and surprised by both how bright it was (actual sunshine) and how quickly I achieved the main task of the day. Rewarded myself with a walk around the botanics - sun was more patchy and a few spots of rain but nice to see lots of crocus, snowdrops, a camellia and rhododendrons flowering. Still some significant clear up taking place after Storm Eowyn last month, with paths closed in places.
