No takers
We saw lots of swans in fields and at least a hundred eagles in trees, in fields, and on signs as Renata and Kalyn drove me to the ferry.
Quite the trip home. There were weather warnings, high winds and rain. The rain started as we were driving to the ferry. Big hugs from her and Kalyn after I checked in. The ferry left in time, and there were warnings about rough conditions as it left. Passengers weren't able to access the elevators and were asked to remain seated as we crossed the strait. It was wild, and I was glad that I don't get seasick. Heavy rain the entire way, and it was great to be on a direct ferry rather than one that stops at the other Gulf Islands. High winds and extremely heavy rain when we docked at Long Harbour, and I got soaked just walking to meet G. He greeted me with the hugest hug, just what I needed. Good to be home for a few days.
I took this from inside, obviously, so there are reflections in the window. No one sitting outside, and passengers weren't allowed on any of the outside decks.
Comments back on for now. Thanks to everyone who continued to leave stars and hearts while I was away. Much appreciated.
