Centre of the Universe?

This little signpost stands in the grounds of The Mansion House in Clifton which was built when Britain may have thought it was a centre of the world.

It features key locations including France, Germany……China! But I couldn’t see America. Though I think the little ship carving may represent John Cabot’s. Mathew?
