Wet and strong winds, and roads were very busy. Left cottage around ten having been on a dry walk before breakfast. Every morning we walk through the community gardens and wherever the ducks are they come running over, this morning they were in the pond and climbed out to say hello, no food so straight back in.
Not a pleasant drive home but house was nice and warm and we were greeted my the little boy that lives opposite shouting they are back as he appeared round the corner and then telling us about his new scooter and trainers, he is three and so lovely.
Picked up parcel from newsagents and was very pleased that the bargain dress I ordered before we left not only fit but is lovely, will go away until summer.
Hetty never sleeps in the car so as soon as we got back from our afternoon walk, which was a wet one, she had dinner and straight to sleep on her rug on the settee.
