Six Red Kites, Four Herons, Two Stonechats

I had a quick walk at Holyfield Hall Farm. Six red kites were wheeling over the farm buildings. Then I saw four grey herons. Unusual to see more than one, apart from at a nesting site. I spotted the male stonechat in an area where some ponds have been cleared. He flew across the road where he perched on a fence and was joined by a female. It's the first time that I've got a male and female in the same frame.

I visited MrQ and his condition seems to be stable. I've got quite a few questions for the doctor tomorrow.
