We didn’t like the room we were in so managed to get moved this afternoon, strangely to the room we were in this time last year.  Very happy.

The morning was warm and still but this afternoon has been intermittent sunshine and extremely breezy as was the case last year.  We’ve spent most of the day lazing by the pool, reading and listening to the waves crashing on the shore.  Very pleasant.

There is one very camp member of staff who I remembered from previous years, although didn’t see him last year. He made a beeline for me last night and we exchanged pleasantries.  I’m not along, he likes all us oldies.  He has the most wonderful manicured nails, which we discussed, and mascara. Such a tonic.

Don’t expect normal photographs from me this holiday.  Some might be, but I am aiming to go off the wall a bit.  This is part of one of the palm trees and the extra is a parasol in the wind.
