Disappearing Beach

Seal wardening again at Horsey this afternoon and on arrival I found more of the beach has been swept away by recent strong tides. The drop from the slipway ramp to the beach is now around 5-6 ft. Changes to the stone groynes to the north appear to have altered the tidal flow around Horsey so the sand level is being eroded. It does not seem to bother the seals hauled up on the beach, there seems to be more than ever.
I know the horizon is tilted, my error.
