Nice ice

Much milder today with lots of showers.
We met with some friends from Manchester, Michael & Amy and their children. We’ve not seen them for years, in fact, we last saw them up here in Scotland a few years ago.
We had planned to meet for a walk then a cafe but, as we arrived the rain became torrential so we sheltered in the cafe first before walking to the green loch together. The children didn’t remember each other but were soon off chatting and playing. They had plenty to keep them entertained at the loch; messing with the ice, skimming stones, throwing pebbles etc.

As we left the loch, Anna & Hilton were just arriving with Teddy and we passed Mum & Dad further down the track as the rain returned.
