The Howrahs

(Friday): The rain today was pretty constant - so much so that by mid-morning the Howrahs (between Keswick and Portinscale) had begun to flood a bit. 

The stream in this photo isn't a stream - it's simply the ground can't drain away the water, which, considering how dry it's been lately, doesn't bode well for the rest of the weekend, which has some pretty bad weather forecast!
