Folk duo

Went to the folk club on the moor with Sian this evening, through the pouring rain and heavy mist. A warm welcome when we got there and these two people gave us some amazing entertainment! They played very varied music starting with Irish gigs from around Cork and some ballads from Ireland and also some classical music by the guitarist, who does not read music, who during lockdown worked out some J s Bach music and was introduced to George friedrivh Handel by his sister in law, not personally obviously! He played them amazingly well!

She was a virtuosic harpist anc could draw you into the music! Had to say goodbye to Flo at 6.30 and her owners didn’t get back till 8.30 so I was a bit unhappy about that! I normally like to greet them with a cuppa!
