Loch na Davie
Ok so if your Arran whiskey tastes a little odd in ten plus years its got Corrie and Booglie feet in it. Up until this point this little lochan is believed to be the purest water in Scotland. We walked from Lochranza to Catacol and up the glen to this little lochan. Just as we got to the top the mist lifted and I could see the crags surrounding us. I had hoped all the dry weather would have had an effect on the last section back into Lochranza past the distillery, but oh no! We still managed to get soaked and coated in peaty mud as we jumped and fell into mire. We must have looked lovely walking back through the village.
