Let’s try that again

Another morning of tidying up, this time in the garden where the persistent rain had left dirty brown streaks below the ivy on the walls. Thankfully they were not as difficult to remove, but it still took a good hour to get everything back to normal.

A good outing with the pooches and Arnie set a table in the garden for our lunch with Sue. Prep done, we were waiting for her arrival when the heavens opened with an unexpected, short but soaking downpour.

Soggy napkins came in handy a little later for the purposes of wiping down our fingers after we munched down a large pile of delicious prawns.

Needless to say we stayed under cover for our second attempt at lunch alfresco.
