Moke Lake . . .

…………………………… on a stunning summer morning.

Moke Lake is west of Queenstown, on the Glenorchy Road. The road up to the lake is windy and gains altitude quickly, through beautiful scenery. The lake was slightly ruffled with a breeze when my brother-in-law and I arrived, but cleared completely and we saw these amazing reflections. There’s another image in Extras. We did walk around it; about 7 kms, up & down.

We’ve just been out for dinner with the family, as M. is heading north again tomorrow. He lives in the centre of the North Island.
