Tomorrow our kitchen will be stripped out and the gas burners will be replaced by an electric induction hob.

This little coffee maker, a much loved present from Harriet, has been in daily use for over the last  three and a half years but will be unsuitable for the induction cooker. 

We spent the whole afternoon emptying the remaining cupboards and drawers in the kitchen and utility room.
