Way Back in Time

It has been such a wet and windy day I decided to have a search through some old photographs.  I came across this 1959 gem.  This is yours truly - dressed in suit, shirt and tie - even a tie clip (all quite normal back then).
The car is a 1957 Vauxhall Velox - which, at the time, was quite a posh car.  I hasten to add it was not my car but, I was the driver......  
My week-end job was (apart from being the general Dogsbody) to clean the hire cars at a local garage (thanks to this 'apprenticeship' I know how to CLEAN a car - inside and out).  I never got paid any money for this, but if there was a hire car available Fred (the garage owner) would sometimes let me have it for the day - and sometimes the week-end.
Me & Mrs MD travelled in style on these occasions ....... :-)
