Magnolia Magic

These blooms are on a Lily Magnolia tree, Magnolia liliiflora. We have several varieties of magnolias blooming now. This beauty is blooming in a neighbor's front yard and is a native of southwest China. It's also known as the Tulip Magnolia. The Southern Magnolia and the Umbrella Magnolia are native to Florida. They won't bloom until early summer. m
