River Dee

Today's the day ....................... to shoot the rapids

A combination of yesterday's deluge and high tides has meant that there's a lot of water about today.

This is the view over our garden fence of the River Dee some forty feet or so below.  At this point, the river is forced to go through quite a narrow gorge, so the water does pick up a bit of speed.  It was looking like the sort of place where you might get canoeists shooting the rapids - although I couldn't see any?!

Hopefully it will all be back to normal tomorrow ...................
