Mono Monday - Pencil Sharpening
Another mini studio offering. I heard an interesting story about the early space explorations where the Americans couldn't find an ink pen that worked in space. Apparently, gravity is required to make the ink flow, so a massive research centre was set up using millions of dollars to find a pen that would work in space. Eventually, such a thing was developed at enormous cost, but the brief was fulfilled and the astronauts could write their reports in the spacecraft. The Russians, on the other hand, used a pencil instead.
