Ball Bearings

I did a little research today for Mono Monday. 

I already have a connection with Sweden anyway, my late sister lived there about 40 years ago, she taught English and lived in Gothenburg. I was going to blip the china pig money box she sent me from there, but then after my research came up with another idea.

SKF a Swedish company make ball bearings Actually they make a huge range of everyday things. I believe their first office was in Gothenburg.

They had a factory in Luton for many years, where Callum did his 3 week induction before starting as catering manager for Gardner Merchant (who were part of Trusthouse Forte), before taking up his post at Liptons Tea in Leighton Buzzard.

Anyway…. I’m reliably told that the drill I have blipped today has ball bearings in it. Thanks to heanku for hosting this month.

I walked the dogs this morning so Callum could continue with fence painting. It’s been a beautiful spring day. The front fence is now complete - after I went and helped out of course :-)
