Lazy Day

Keeping in touch with Jamie overnight meant not a lot of sleep.  He's home now but none the wiser as to what the problem was.  We struck lucky with a lift home, his new support person CP, coming to the rescue.  Not what we would have planned for a first shift but Jamie says he was lovely so a definite win.

The workmen arrived early and worked long and hard on getting the fixing done in the kitchen here .... just a shame there's so much to fix.  The contracting process for disabled facilities grants has to give value for money but having specialist equipment installed by someone who has not fitted it before is fraught with risk.  Another day of it tomorrow - and one of todays 'fixes' needs further adjustment having created a new issue.

Meg and I had a walk in the setting sunlight this afternoon but before that we had dozed the afternoon away in the sunshine :-)
