St.Bees

After the relentlessly horrible weather and the bleakness of the film yesterday I was very relieved to see this today!

I headed into town to craggy’s, nipped into M&S to get some flowers and a bottle of Crémant, and then we went on to pick up G and drove over to St.Bees to A’s new home for lunch and to mark her retirement. After craggy goes in March I’ll be the last of the gang left. Whilst the soup was warming up I went for a quick lovely dip.
We enjoyed a lovely afternoon, bathed in sunshine, looking out to sea and chatting.
