Progress is a two person job

Met these two guys Jamie and Andy this morning digging a hole in our road.
“What for?” I ask.
 
“Fibre optic cables….you will soon have lighting connection to the internet.”
“Oh good!” I say though to be frank  there is nothing wrong with the speed of our internet at present. Why does everything have to be speeded up?  But I keep such thoughts to myself.
 
Talking of progress how about robots, a subject on my mind since I  received an email from a former student now working in robotics. She says it is very exciting.
