Flood Repairs

The rebuilding of the wall that collapsed during the last floods has started. It was scheduled to begin a few weeks ago but it turned out that Worcestershire Council hadn’t got the permission required from the Environment Agency before it could begin work. We expected that permission to delay the work for a considerable time because the EA work at a snail’s pace but obviously the go ahead has been given. It will make the town less vulnerable when it’s completed but certainly not safe from further flooding.
Spent an hour in the garden between showers this morning & then went to Aquafit this afternoon.
I called into the bank to get them to resend the forms required to change signatories on a charity account I have been looking after for many years.
I collected J’s prescription from the pharmacy, I was amazed that it was ready & I didn’t have the usual long wait.
M made me a coffee whilst I used the PC at my old desk for the online signing of the bank form (which has finally gone through) & we all had a chat.
Watched several episodes of Virdee tonight. We were tempted to continue but it’s getting late so we have two more to go tomorrow.
