A LOT of Rain!

Gosh it absolutely poured today! The golf course is flooded, and the streets nearby are flooded too. I’m not sure why Rock Creek floods so consistently and badly, but it does. We live with it. Fortunately, it doesn’t impact our condos.

I did a bunch of stuff around the house today. You may find this amusing, but MrWK (yes, he’s actually still in the picture even though I rarely see him) has gotten into singing karaoke. He’s got a terrific voice and found an on line app that he sings to. And guess what, yours truly posted her first song today. It wasn’t bad but I was horribly nervous posting it for the world to hear. Once upon a very long time ago I sang a lot. I’m still very musical, but my voice has suffered the effects of time. No longer a soprano!

Here’s a lovely crocus just opening in my courtyard container garden. I dashed out amongst the torrents of wind and rain! Gorgeous weather later this week - I even have a golf tee time for Friday!
