A twisty bus ride down to the big city for a morning strolling the old quarter - including a great market - and afternoon swim on the long beach - another bus ride away. Extra photo is Colon house, visited by Christopher Columbus en route to the Americas. It was dark when we got back to San Mateo so we summonsed a taxi for the final stage up to our hotel.
