Bursting into life

I was so lucky that my planned walk with C at Ashton Court coincided with what for me seemed to be the first day of spring. Not only sunny but also warm!
It reminded me of the story about the wind and the sun arguing about who was more powerful. And the wind said - I bet I can blow that person’s coat right off their body. It blew and blew and the person wrapped their coat around more tightly. Then it was the sun’s turn, it just shone with warmth and the person took their coat off:-) anyhow C and I were taking off many layers as we walked around the lovely park.
I took a few views of trees and blue sky, but I like this best of the celandine bursting through the dead leaves and bracken of last year
