Three hours of admin, two hours of napping, one hour of comedy.

Not a bad day!

Yesterday I discovered that the service user I was supposed to be picking up & working with for leisure scheme wouldn't be coming. However, with it being a weekend I still had to get up this morning to check with my manager if I was needed to work. We agreed that I would go in a little later to help with admin...meaning that I had time to replace my lost bus pass and would have a shorter day but still keep my hours up. Thankful for the hours and I don't mind doing admin on the odd occasion but I definitely couldn't do an office job full time!

It also meant that I had time for a cheeky afternoon nap to make up for some of the sleep that I had missed last week and still not caught up on. Two hours (!) later and I was awoken by a text and was soon making plans to go to see a show. Being able to plan things last minute is definitely a huge benefit of where I now live!

The show "Mixed Doubles" was bizarre yet funny and, as much as I am happy to go to shows alone, it was great to have the company. Catch-up & food topped it off nicely then time to go back to my flat for a quick catch-up with Tabita and the discovery that we can see the Tattoo fireworks from our kitchen window.

Surprisingly still tired so it's off to bed I go, safe in the knowledge that I'm not working until 5pm tomorrow :)
