Walk
I had to go to a funeral in Warriston Crem (a former OU colleague and all-round lovely bloke) - it was a nice day so I walked there and back. (Although not exactly Scorchio! as predicted by Scobes!) Lots of old colleagues turned up (last time a lot of us met up was for Old Bat's funeral in the same place). No god-bothering at all, since Robin was a Quaker. A lovely tribute from his family, a couple of poems, and a slide-show of his life and family. Very nice.
There were lots of flowers out, along with lots of dog walkers and runners including hazelh and mrhazelh, presumably running off last night's mead. Couldn't decide what to blip, so the collage includes (clockwise from top left): the steps up to Keddie Park, newly painted (I had previously helped wire brush them), some of the allotment site at Warriston, daffs and crocus out beside the water, the lovely wee garden on the corner by the bridge which partially hides the unlovely Plumbase, a classic discarded trolley for Mr FT's benefit (this is Leith, after all), and some aconites and snowdrops in Coalie Park, along with a tiny bit of white blossom opening.
