Purple...... and Mono Monday Result February 24
It has been so much fun to see all the "Swedish entries". It turned out that you know a lot about Swedish things and Swedish inventions.
Many people knew that the zipper is a Swedish invention, as well as the the ruler with foldable joints and some other tools. You also had an eye on the matches, as well as the Wettex dishcloth. Furniture from a certain big shop, ABBA, Swedish glass, architecture and design were also no surprise to you. And I have nagged so much about fika, so I do not think anyone has missed it. Some had personal memories such as the Swedish chef in the muppet show and the Stockholm marathon medal and a romantic meeting in Sweden that resulted in marriage. There were some surprises: the three-point safety belt, tetrapak and the refrigerator. And so much more.
Then some had stumbled upon other Nordic things such as the Moomin from Finland and the cheese slicer from Norway. It would have been fun if they had also been Swedish, but I will not take the credit away from our neighboring countries. I also noticed a couple who thought longer and suggested the root vegetable swede.
Thank you so much for agreeing to my foolishness and my great demands, but you have done it with honor. I am proud of all of you.

Hearts to:
JacZero: Fika! Do not need to say more, beautiful photo and I love fika.
steveng: Wrenches, this indispensable handy tool. As a bonus, a wooden train from Brio. These are quality toys.
Kersko: Another nice minimalist photo of a clothes hanger.
evolybab: Zipper, it is a wonderful invention.
SandraSuisse: Nice photo of a cup of coffee/tea, not really fika, but it is the book that I get hooked on. Lagom, It is a lovely Swedish expression that I have not ever found an equivalent to in any other language. I and other Swedes use it and everyone knows immediately what it means.
Honorable mentions to:
59: Here we have a fika table. It should be a hot drink such as coffee, tea or chocolate and something sweet. Fika is the best time of the day.
LauraBlack: A nice minimalist photo of the inconspicuous but magnificent invention.
CowgirlCarol: Inherited Swedish stamps, a personal way of approaching the theme.
JohnW: Another photo of wrenches, but I could not resist this neat photo. Ingeborg: Tetrapak, an excellent invention that we all use on a daily basis, perhaps without thinking about the development in the packaging world.
Thank you so much for all the excellent photos. You are the best!I
