River, road, railway, canal

I took the longer cycle to work this morning, to give me a bit of fresh air and movement before a long day at work. I've had this blip in mind for a while and today I had time to execute it. The second half of the journey takes me over the river, a big road, the railway and the canal. It also takes me under another railway and the tramway, and under numerous roads on the cycle path.

It was another long and periodically a tiny bit fraught day at the office, although there were plenty of nice chats with colleagues and a fair amount of mutual supportiveness. I bowed out of another evening engagement today, but I feel much much better and more or less back to normal, bar some occasional coughing. I have another evening engagement tomorrow, to which I think I shall go along. All work and no play, etc. etc.
