Holyfield Heron

Lovely sunshine today. I walked at Holyfield Hall Farm this afternoon hoping to capture the female stonechat. No luck. I've seen bramblings and yellowhammers in this area before but there was no sign of them either. I did photograph a nice female chaffinch. (Extras) Jack heron launched and herd of fallow deer does were sunning themselves in the distance on the hill.

MrQ was allowed some sips of water from a spoon and a very small quantity of strawberry ice cream. It perked him up and made us feel better.
