On My Radio

Before rehearsal tonight, Kris, Zoe & myself went to the Beyond Radio studio in Lancaster to promote the play live to the nation. Well, that part of the nation that can pick up Beyond Radio anyway. So basically the Morecambe Bay area. Which is no bad thing as that is where most of our potential audience live.
We were in there for almost an hour, chatting about the play in between the tunes. Had to be careful not to give too much of the plot away, though the presenter did try his best to make us spill the beans! It was a great experience and sounded good according to the other cast members who were listening in.
Beyond Radio have been very good to Lancaster Footlights over the years, helping publicise several of our productions. As there was usually an upturn in ticket sales after those broadcasts, we are hoping that trend will continue for The Waiting Room…
