Gloucester Cathedral

We visited an old friend of mine recently who told us that he had become a guide at Gloucester Cathedral.   He offered us a private tour of the cathedral and said we could bring some friends with us.   We therefore arranged a mini blip meet involving  StevenG, Technophobe, Fitzbilly,and Hildasrose.

The tour took up most of the day and was way more extensive than the usual guided tours.   We visited every corner of the cathedral including the crypt and cloisters.   My friend Nigel was full of useful information and was very entertaining.  We covered history from the Norman conquest to Harry Potter.

In true Blipmeet style,  we had coffee, lunch and afternoon tea
