Betty's
A trip to Harrogate now has to include a visit to Betty's. But early on! Who wants to queue to pay £5.25 for a latte? A lot of people! I just love it being served in Wedgwood china. I knew it was because we have had this same china in the Wedgwood restaurant.
After a visit to Lakeland, (yes, I know, we went to Windermere Lakeland on Friday but Harrogate might have had the item that was out of stock.) we went to Wetherspoons Winter Gardens for lunch. Excellent tomato and basil soup!
I had to book into my New Wine conference at 1pm and met up with 4 others from our church. 2 of us went together for the seminar most related to working with children/youth groups. I was particularly interested because the speaker was Christy Wimber, daughter-in-law of a well-known American evangelist John Wimber.
A brisk walk back to Wetherspoons for our evening meal than back to another conference session for me followed by drinks in the Crowne Plaza bar with our other team members.
