Walk

We started the day with a walk along the front.  Blue sky, seagulls circling, paragliders landing …… and a few people rifling through the bins for breakfast?!  Apparently the gulf between the richest and poorest is greatest in SA (ubiquitous status apparently taken over from India).  Makes me so sad although I did give a few notes to two different people begging at the traffic lights - so dangerous and sometimes wearing no shoes? 

However……we met up with B&C at 11.45 and had a lovely day.  C drove us around and we visited the gardens then on to Kalk Bay for lunch.  They have dual citizenship both born in SA and we learned lots more about the country.  Home by 6.30 then dinner out at a local hotel.  Last evening as home tomorrow although wishing we had booked longer.  We have vowed like Arnie ‘we will be back’!
