Sad loss

We lost our 50 year old Linden tree in the storm last night. Thankfully it fell to the field and not on any buildings. It was useful in many ways; we picked and dried the flowers for tea, used the branches to make the sauna “vihta” and enjoyed the privacy its abundant branches provided from the neighbors.
The wind was so strong, exciting and scary at the same time.
