Robin

When I looked out first thing this morning, it was bright and looked like it was going to be quite a nice day, but it didn't take long for the rain clouds to appear and it has turned into a very wet, grey day. I saw this robin on the beech hedge in front of the golf course giving it some welly and singing for all it was worth. I hope the lady robins were as impressed as I was. 
In the absence of any other expected photos today, I'll post this early as we are going out for our evening meal and will then try to continue our winning streak at The Bell Inn quiz night down the road. For the past 3 years we have won at least one of the main prizes, although we are missing our star player, as he sadly, and very suddenly died just before Christmas. I hope we can do him proud.
