Revisiting old haunts

I took my children for a short walk on my childhood farm earlier today, courtesy of the new owners who are friends of friends. It was different, but in nice condition, and it was good to have a chance to walk the fields, if not to go into the barn or visit my old bedroom which would have been a bit much to ask. C complained that the long grass itched... I'm afraid I'm raising a city boy!
