Rest Stop

Got home, from California, last night at midnight. Leaving today at noon for my grandmother's funeral in the Midwest. It's nice to be home, even for a short while.

The weeds in my garden have grown to monstrous sizes while I was gone. They'll have to grow another couple of days. I'm sure all of the inactivity in the garden has made it quite comfortable for this little ribbon snake.
