St Ives and Jumbo
The St Ives is a statue I inherited from my Tante Marie - It was always sitting on top of a huge very old Breton wardrobe in her house when I was a child.
Saint Ives is a beloved patron saint of lawyers and those seeking justice. His commitment to social justice and his acts of charity have inspired many throughout the centuries. He died in 1303 at the age of 50, and he was canonized by Pope Clement VI in 1347. His feast day is celebrated on May 19th, the day of his death. His remains are interred in the church of Saint Ivo in his hometown of Kermartin. Poetically, he is referred to as "Advocate of the Poor".
Jumbo is a much later addition to my bits and pieces and is made of resin.
Yesterday evening with the girls we had a great sing song. Such fun trying to sing in rounds etc. Eldest loves leading everyone!
Today was digital group and Geof showed us how to use masks in Lightroom.
