Hard frost overnight…

as forecast and anticipated when watching for the planets last night. Mars and Jupiter were very obvious amid the myriad stars we are lucky and dark enough to see, but Venus and Saturn were below our horizon.
Today was lovely and bright and sunny with plenty of fresh snow on the summits of the higher peaks. Here the highest is about 2000’. So peaceful and calm with very little water coming through the dam.
