Visit to the avian specialist in Utrecht

Today we had an appointment with dr. Yvonne van Zeeland our avian specialist. Tommy needed a hormonal implant because of his hyper behaviour for a while now. It didn't get any less. His beaky is trimmed too. Ollie went with us because he also acted somewhat weird lately. First I thought it also was hormonal but he didn't regurgitate food but white fluid. It was good Yvonne did check him thoroughly because he is diagnosed with a yeast infection (Candida) in his crop so he got meds for this. Last but not least his sharp nails are trimmed. Always do that myself but then I have to put him in a towel and he gets so stressed than.

NOTE: they were so brave and it went very good both in one travel cage. So proud of my boys!
