Crocuses
Today was very wet, as expected, so it was a good day to catch up on admin and other computer tasks that I have been wanting to do.
I went to my group golf lesson this morning, and it was wet and cold - for the first time the rain was blowing into the golf bays. We are usually lucky and most Wednesdays seem to be sunny ones, but not today. Afterwards our group stayed for a cappuccino in the cafe at the golf centre and a catch up.
I managed to achieve everything on my to do list today. I updated my website with my Scotland photos, I started and completed a photobook of that trip to Scotland and did some personal banking admin. Making a photobook doesn't take long as I keep my photos in folders and so it's just a case of downloading the folder into the photo book software (Cewe Photobooks) and then organising them as I wish them to be displayed.
Later in the afternoon it was sunny, so I walked to the post office with Xena to post some return orders. About an hour later we had hail and thunder! Crazy weather.
These crocuses are in my garden. This year we also planted hundreds of tulip bulbs ('we' meaning our gardener), we took a chance as in the past the squirrels have eaten most of the bulbs. However they seem to all be coming up, soon we will have lots of lovely tulips on display. On Saturday it is the start of meteorological spring, I will be very pleased to see the back of winter.
