OTT?

My friend received a parcel in the post today. Inside were his eye drops in a box measuring 2.5 inches x 1inch (sorry I don’t do metric!!) together with a thick blue plastic bag, an ice pack measuring 14x7 ins and some fleece measuring 29x13 ins!!! It was 9 degrees outside and although the drops are supposed to be stored in a ‘fridge was all this padding etc necessary. How much did it all cost I wonder? Is it me??
