I always take an extra day's annual leave to ease the transition back to employment after a holiday. Day off, work tomorrow.

A pleasant time scanning in some negatives from a film I took in Malta on Saturday and then down the local pool to put some lengths in. All before early afternoon cinema at The Cameo, summat I'd never seen on the big screen - Raging Bull. Absolute masterpiece, and it makes the vast majority of films made in the forty five years since it's release look a bit crap to be honest.

Coffee and book in the bar afterwards, now all that's left is to avoid the Liverpool score 'til Match Of The Day later. A completely phone-free evening ahead then.
