Energia in Lisbon

So, so good to meet up with a Blipper I've followed for years now, and who I have immense admiration for, plus gratitude for her faithful reporting on the war in Ukraine. 

Here she is, being hugged by Ricardo, our tuk-tuk driver, with her friend, Lisa, next to Mike. Ricardo did a whirlwind tour of the Alfama area of Lisbon, with accompanying fado music, then we went in our car to eat the proper pastéis de nata at the Confeitaria de Belém, plus a quick look at the Discoveries Monument. And that was all we had time for, as she had to go for her flight early afternoon.

Ricardo had assumed we were family; he was rather mystified by the fact that we'd never actually met before today - but that's how Blippers are, n'est-ce pas?

Gratefuls:
- Energia being as gracious and lovely as I´d imagined her to be (Lisa was lovely as well, and we hope to meet again)
- Lisbon showing her best side, warm sunshine and friendly Ricardo (a native Lisboeta)
- Mike driving us safely home again (and no tomcat smells)
